Sheesh I can’t believe summer’s already over…
Anyway. i’m taking my test in 12 hours….lots of people have been praying for me..I feel so grateful…Thanks everyone =) I’ll try my very best but even if I don’t do as well as I had hoped to…there’s always another chance to take it..(actually two more chances haha)
Tune in next time to near about my 1st DAT experience =)
Feels like insomniaaa ahhhhhh
3:35am
My laptop started to make this extremely loud, unbearably annoying fan noise starting a few weeks ago and it is literally driving me crazy. Can’t even enjoy my music! It’s so strange though…it’s not overheating but I feel like the laptop’s about to explode any second! ARGH! I decided it’s finally time for a mac…Grace has had her pro for a while and she’s loving it…so…I’m going to make a trip down to the apple store tomorrow to pickup a macbook pro and a free ipod touch =) Promotion ends tomorrow so…i probably should be sleeping right now to get there early ..but whatevs.
I had a long day today…left arcadia to get to work around 1pm…had to get forms and binders ready to train people how to work at the front desk. It’s strange to think that I’m responsible for hiring fellow student workers..it almost feels wrong..but it’s my job so i gotta do what i gotta do right? I just hope I won’t run into problems in the future…I kept stuttering today while I was explaining details about the job..drove me insane! Felt like a complete idiot! Aye yai yai! ended up leaving work around 8pm..tried to get to the apple store in victoria gardens..but they cut off their line at 8:15 -_- wthell man!!!!
C starts dental school tomorrow. I’m super excited for him….gonna look so damn good in those blue scrubs! hahahaha I joked that he’d have so many girls hitting on him the first day…too bad for them he gets completely introverted around strangers…=P
I got a new phone! *drumroll* blackberry curve..it’s purple! yayy my favorite color! Other than the nice color, this device is a piece of shit..literally…I had to take my effin charger to CHIPOTLE today =_=’ how embarrassing! Runs out of battery super quickly..and I did the whole charging it for a day before turning it on yadee yadee yadee but nope doesn’t work….oh iphone, how I long for thee!!!!
I’m craving some daisy mint….yummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
September 15th. Doomsday.
Adrenaline is starting to kick(LOL thanks jen) in….Time to rape this long ass test. -_-’

Spring of 2010
What I’ve accomplished this quarter:
- aced both midterms for Immunology
- b-ced both midterms for Ochem =_=
- performed at the talent show with my one-and-only-black-friend named Fern<3
- went to church TWICE! WOW!
- learned & perfected this dance =>
Finally…a new post
So, I didn’t keep my promise. I got too lazy. WordPress won’t let me update pictures by the album…unlike facebook…so I just uploaded them onto facebook for those of you who are curious. Grace somehow logged into my facebook and deleted all the pictures of herself…so no I didn’t purposely upload all those self-shots. hahaha.
Anyhow. Spring quarter has begun and I’m already behind. What’s new? I’m loving Ochem though…mostly because of my awesome professor! I love her to death! (I’m not being sarcastic for those of you who think I’ve gone crazy) But really..I was thinking about how I would love to get a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry after I graduate from dent school..how cool would that be? Dr. Susan Moon-(Enter future husband’s last name here…haha..if i ever marry that is..)
I came across this while I was working in Angwin. My boss asked me to make copies of this for her..and being the nosy person that I am…I peeked and saw this and asked to make extra copies for myself =P anyway…here it is~
“15 Types of Problematic Thinking”
1. Filtering: You take the negative details and magnify them while filtering out all positive aspects of a situation.
2. Polarized Thinking: Things are black or white, good or bad. You have to be perfect or you’re a failure. There is no middle ground, it’s “all or nothing.”
3. Overgeneralization: Coming to a general conclusion based on a single incident or piece of evidence. If something bad happens once, you expect it to happen over and over again.
4. Mind Reading: Without them saying so, you know what people are feeling and why they act the way they do. In particular, you are able to tell how people are feeling toward you.
5. Catastrophizing: You expect disaster. You notice or hear about a problem and start “what ifs”. What if tragedy strikes? What if it happens to you?
6. Personalization: Thinking that everything people do or say is some kind of reaction to you. You also compare yourself to others, trying to determine who’s smarter, better looking, etc.
7. Control Fallacies: If you feel externally controlled, you see yourself as helpless, a victim of fate. The fallacy of internal control has you responsible for the pain and happiness of everyone around you.
8. Fllacy or Fairness: You feel resentful because you think you know what’s fair but other people won’t agree with you.
9. Blaming: You hold others responsible for your pain. Or, you take the other tack and blame yourself for every problem or reversal without regard to external causes.
10. Shoulds: You have a list of ironclad “rules” about how you and other people should act. People who break the rules anger you and you feel guilty if you violate the rules.
11. Emotional Reasoning: You believe that what you feel must be true-automatically. If you feel stupid and boring, then you must be stupid and boring.
12. Fallacy of Change: You expect that other people will change to suit you if you just pressure or cajole them enough. You need to change people because your hopes for happiness seem to depend entirely on them.
13. Global Labeling: You generalize one or two qualities into a negative global judgment.
14. Being Right: You are continually on trial to prove that your opinions and actions are correct. Being wrong is unthinkable and you will go to any length to demonstrate your rightness.
15. Heaven’s Reward Fallacy: You expect all your sacrifice and self-denial to pay off, as if there were someone keeping score. You feel bitter when the reward doesn’t come.
Haha as I’m typing up this post…my friend is already telling me which ones I am…according to him I am “3.5.6.9. and 10″ It sucks to know that people can identify your flaws instantly! I’m really glad I came across this article though; it’ll definitely motivate me to stop thinking problematically! =) New challenge for the year! =)
Until next time~
